Nippon Shoku no Anzen Ranking 555

I just published ニッポン食の安全ランキング - by Martin J Frid (Kodansha May, 2009)
ISBN:978-4-06-214970-9

Cafe Globe Love

I rank 555 different food products that can be found in supermarkets and on Internet websites. I generally give three stars to organic foods, but other factors also matters. Local, small, traditional food producers, with sustainable methods are noteworthy. Many others use ingredients from farms that used pesticides and food additives? Do the large companies even tell us from where the ingredients are imported? How about proper labelling of genetically modified organisms (GMO) and other issues that consumers want to know about?

This is a guidebook that also helps shoppers who care about food mileage and climate change. Let me know what you think.
