Japan's environmental lessons for China?

Will China follow the examples of Japan and Korea and solve it's environmental problems before they have disasterous consequences for China, and as the world's largest emitter of greenhouse gases, the global environment itself?

Sadly I can't make the 28th as I'll be herding 15 Japanese through Philadelphia and New York City! I'm program director for FEW (Foreign Executive Women) responsible for getting our speakers so will share info. Not everyone is a gifted speaker so hearing someone first is the best test.
