I'm currently entering the final stages of creating a business plan for a start up company in the Energy Consulting field in Japan. In order to make this business work, I'm going to need two things:
1) a Japanese business partner who can interact with both Japanese authorities and domestic clients
2) Investors who can provide startup capital for the business
If you would like to know more about my ideas or if you know anyone who may be interested in it, please do not hesitate to contact me at mike.p.gervais@gmail.com or to pass on my email address to the appropriate people.
My company eQualC Sustainability Communications can assist you with interaction with Japanese authorities and clients.
On the investment side, you may be interested in the Triple Bottom Line Investment conference on May 27-28 in Tokyo. See http://www.tbliconference.com/ for details of the conference.
We are working with the event organizers so let us know if you are interested and we will try to get you a discount as a member of Green Mondays.
Regards

I notices Luke has already replied to this. Naturally, don`t want to step on his toes...hoping something came of that. If not, drop me a line and can see what you need and how we may be able to assist.
Thanks for the mail. Luke and I did meet up for a chat a couple of weeks back and might have found some ways in which we could cooperate, but I don't think you'd be stepping on his toes at all. I'm generally open to meeting with people to learn more about their ideas and businesses, you never know where you might find some interesting synergy. Do you have time to meet for a coffee or something later this week or next? Please mail me at mike.p.gervais@gmail.com
